A spa treatment in a bottle

I bought this facial oil (let's face it, that's what it is) to keep my skin from drying out over the winter, but it has the added benefit of a supremely relaxing, aromatherapeutic effect. I've used Decleor facial oils and loved them, but they have a hefty price tag. I'm happy to say that this product does an equal job at a much better price.
I brought a bottle with me on vacation and it was perfect for fending off airplane skin dehydration. My mom and sister both asked to use some and loved it (I ended up giving my mom my bottle and buying a new one for myself when I got home). My mom has an allergic reaction to most lotions, but not to this product.
I don't know about the "repair" claim. Whatever. It's just a nice treat for your skin and your nerves. |

This is a natural facial repair serum from Burt's Bees, and it is excellent for this use. However, I rarely use it on my face, except at night sometimes, because it is so intense and heavy. The rest of the time I use it EVERYWHERE else! I mix it with my overall body moisturizer (which is pure sesame oil) and rub it all over my body. I use it full strength on my hands. I use it anywhere on my body that needs attention, healing, moisture. For special occasions, I use it as an all-over body moisturizer full strength.
I go through probably a bottle a month, so it is "expensive", but I enjoy it so much I don't care. A little goes a long way, but I am using it for so many things.
The smell is probably my favorite small of any "beauty" product. It is an aromatherapy-type smell, earthy, not perfume-y at all. All of the oils are natural, and blend together to create a perfect lovely fragrance. It is subtle, but unlike anything else I've tried.
The ingredients are: Rosehip seed oil, jojoba oil, lavender oil, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), evening primrose oil, borage seed oil, wheat germ oil, hazelnut oil, neroli oil, rose oil, calendula extract, green tea extract, beta carotene, tocopherol, ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C), retinyl palmitate (vitamin A). They are all natural and wonderful!
I like the bottle size too, as it is easy to travel with. At the price, I consider Burt's Bees Repair Serum an affordable luxury that I can't do without!

The holy grail of anti-aging!

Yet America's biggest secret! The first few days that I used this serum I couldn't understand what the fuss was about. After a week I was sold and will never buy any other anti-aging serums or creams. This is the winner hands down. The price is extremely inexpensive. You might think it's pricey, but I've been using this for a month and a half and the bottle still looks like it's never been used. A little goes a long way and I'll probably have this for over a year. When was the last time you could say that for anti-aging serum? I spent $17 for an entire year...shocking, I know. You can't go wrong, just give the product time and you will see what everyone else sees who uses this. I'm loyal now - will not ever waste money again on the junk that advertising sells. This IS it!
Repair Rescue

This repair serum is very heavy on the skin. I'd worry it would clog up sensitive skin but the all natural oils are absorbed rather quickly. I'm a smoker and use it in the morning and night around my eyes and mouth to reduce and prevent wrinkles. It feels amazing and does it's job.
Love it! Superior to much more expensive products

I've had troubled skin my entire life--oily, break-out prone, roscea-like symptoms. I brought things under control with some expensive products from spas, but I didn't like having to rely on purchasing from one source. On a whim I tried the travel pack from BB's "aging and sensitive skin line" (do wish they'd rename it--my ego after all)and I love the way it makes my skin look. I use the serum followed by the marshmallow cream in the morning and at bedtime. When I think of it I also use the rose-water toner. The toner is great for tenage skin and my daughter, who has very sensitive delicate skin loves both the serum and the toner. A couple of years ago I recommended it to a friend who has a classic irish complexion and is highly allergic. THe other day, I noticed what great skin she has and she told me she had taken me up on the recommendation. Biggest problem with this product is that it can be difficult to find in stores that don't stock a lot of Burts.
Really improves your skin!

I work at a natural face and body care shop in Montpelier, Vermont ~ where we REALLY need help with our skin in the long winter! We also sell the Dr. Hauschka line of skin care, which is miraculous, BUT this Burt's Bee's Serum is really effective, and costs a lot less. It softens your skin, creates a youthful dewy look and it smells amazing too. I love it!

This is a great product! I originally purchased it for my eyes but it was a little much for them. It started to run into them at night and irritate them slightly. I have since started using it on my neck and on target spots on my face (including on area about 1 inch below my eyes) I love it and my skin has looked better than it has in a long time. Calmer and clearer. The smell is wonderful. I also use Burt's Bees Radiance Eye Cream and am very happy with that product.
Finally figured out how to fix my dry red skin

At first I only used this as suggested, around the eyes and mouth, but recently started applying it to my whole face followed by a moisturizing night cream. My face looked better within two days. The redness and dryness are gone and my skin glows in the morning. I was worried about clogging pores but that hasn't happened to me yet and the results are amazing.

Excellent for Tattoos!

I recently got a new tattoo. I had been using a lotion product recommended by my tattoo artist, but really wanted to go with something more natural. This stuff is great! It immediately soothed my new tattoo, and kept all the "itchies" away. My skin healed so much faster with this product. I will continue to use it on my future work. Do not be afraid of the word "oil". These oils seep into your skin and repair, and did not cause me to break out at all. I have used this stuff on my face too! It's great!
SO easy!

This was the only thing that got rid of my dry flaky irritated patches. Overnight! |

I could not find this product in any of the retail stores in my area. So I had to look for it online. I always compare prices and research reviews before buying online. This product did not let me down. I love it and use it twice a day. It smells amazing and really showed an improvement within a day. You don't need much, 1oz should last for a while. I highly recommend. Also, it comes from Amazon not a reseller on Amazon so you know you are getting the real thing.
