I've been using Dermalogica MediBac Oil Control Lotion for years. I have very oily skin and I'm just over 40yrs old. I use this oil control lotion every single day and wouldn't do without it. It has been the only product to "help" keep my oil at bay. While I have never found a product to keep me completely oil free, this product is the absolute next best thing. I love the fact that the consistency is not thick. Is very thin and I apply it with a cotton ball. A little goes a long way. It's a great, great product! Wish they would have better sales though. :-)

I have very oily skin, so prior to using this product I had to blot oil from my face and retouch my makeup a few times a day. In the month that I've been using this, I've been able to go all day long without needing to do it. I put the lotion on first thing in the morning, let it dry, and put my makeup over it. It provides a matte, almost airbrushed effect as long as you rub it in all the way. If you let it dry on your face without completely rubbing it in you can end up with visible lines. The other thing I noticed about this product is that because it contains a small amount of salycilic acid (acne medication), I've been getting far fewer blemished, my pores don't look as large, I have fewer black heads in problem zones, and my skin is softer.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who suffers from oily skin.

i've been meaning to try this product for sometime. it was a disappointment. the upside is that the consistency is tolerable. it's not greasy nor sticky, just like a lotion, but it just had no oil control and i would consider myself mild oily category.
