Looks like nail polish, but much quicker

I'm a chemist and deal with caustic chemicals every day; it's very hard to find anything that can stand up to the abuse I put my hands and nails through.

~The hand lotion is very nice. It doesn't smell very strongly and leaves my hands feeling soft for most the day. It does take a few minutes to truly soak in, but there's no greasy residue when it does.

~The emery board is a nice one, but fairly run of the mill, I'd consider it an extra for the kit, but not the highlight.

~I love the cuticle oil. It's very light weight and has really helped heal my cracked and flaky cuticles in just a few weeks.

~Finally, I save the best for last: the buffer block. I've used similar products in the past, but this is the first one I've used that actually leaves my nails so shiny that they look like I've got wet nail polish on them. Even my clear coat nail polish isn't this shiny. With me, the polish lasts about 3-5 days (depending on what kind of chemicals I'm dealing with at work), but it's a real cinch to buff it back up if I feel like it.

Basically I'd highly recommend this product to my friends, but then they'd know the secret behind my nice nails.
Exceptional Product, be careful where you purchase

My wife and I also purchased the seacret nail kits from a salesperson in the mall. The products are great quality. I was an aircraft mechanic for the last 10 years. Those years left my hands abused, dry, and callused. After a 10 minute demonstration I was completely sold. Everything we bought works exactly as the salesman claimed, and still does. I believe we got lucky in that our agreed price on 2 kits came out slightly less than what amazon sells the kit for. Please, be very careful what you agree to pay. The product is worth buying but it may take some research and or haggling to get the best deal possible.
It's All About The Buffing Block...

I got "sold" on this product at a kiosk at a local mall. I didn't buy it at the time because I was turned off by the hard sell. But, my one nail (the one on which the product was tested) was so super shiny for weeks after, I started getting non-buyers remorse. So, I found this product online and bought it right away. The only real reason to buy this kit is for the buffing block. It is totally worth it because, if you do it right, you can make your nails so shiny, they look like they have clear polish on them. It's true! Unfortunately, you cannot buy the block separately. But, you can always use the lotion, right? I bought the same kit for my Mom and she loves the lotion.
A great nail product

Bought this at the mall at a kiosk after she demonstrated it to me (I went there to get a face product) because the block alone was absolutely wonderful with my nails (really shiny without a product on them). HOWEVER, I paid $60 for a box and got one free, and this was supposedly a discount. For two boxes it was a discount, but how she pitched it sounded as though this is the price for one.

Honestly, I just wanted the block which works really, REALLY well and you can buy that here separately for far cheaper. I would recommend this product, BUT do your research on prices first!
worth the price...but get two sets

This product is really good - I LOVE the buffer. A friend of mine is a nail tech and she said that the buffer is one of the best that you can get. My mom and I got lured in by a guy at a mall kiosk and got the full treatment. He gave us a similar price than the amazon one, but then threw in a free set cause we were getting two. Then we looked at the salt scrub and got a similar deal. I think if you are going to get this product, try one of the mall places and see if you can get a couple of sets at a good price. We ended up getting three sets for $75.
I think that whatever you pay 25-50, this kit is definately worth it.

Also - if you go get this at the mall kiosk, ask if they will throw in extra buffer pads. They are sticky on the back so they can just peel off and be replaced. The guy that helped us gave us 2 sets of extra ones in case ours wear out.
Absolutely Fabulous!

My mother bought this for me on a whim at the Northgate Mall in San Rafael after I complained of poor nails post acrylics. My favorite part of the nail kit is the Wild Kiwi body lotion. The body lotion is super hydrating, absorbs effortlessly into the skin, and smells WONDERFUL. I developed skin irritations to fragranced products over recent years and I am pleased to tell any lady with sensitive skin that I could use the lotion all over without ever getting itchy! The cuticle oil and 4-sided nail buffer are among the best nail care products out there - better than anything I had previously purchased at Sephora or Pure Beauty. After a couple of weeks of use, the cuticle oil reduced my "hang nails" and my new nail bed growth looked decidedly stronger. I definitely recommend giving this set a go if you like to have perfectly groomed natural nails.
Love It, But.....

It's a good product. I don't normally shop at mall kiosks, but I didn't mind a little demonstration. I'd seen their kiosk several times. Not too much haggling. She came down on the price twice just because I kept saying no. $25 was fair. I've used similar blocks ($1), but this one is definitely better. I never polish my nails.
They had a 2 yr warranty on the the block and said that I just had to bring my receipt and they'll replace it for me over the next 2 years. That was a plus. I checked out the website to learn more. You can also get it on eBay for around $10 + S&H.
Wow...shiny, healthy nails, at last!

From the first use of this product I noticed a difference in my manicure. The buffer is a super product. Fingernails were smooth and the nailpolish went on so nicely. Hands are so soft and where I used to have hang nails now I have none. My fingernails don't chip and crack like they used to. I love this Nail Care Kit! Don't need a Manicurist you can do it yourself!

My husband got me this as a gift - spending a bit more than I would have preferred him to. He so totally scored. This kit is awesome. The lotion is the best I've ever used - really absorbent and doesn't wash off unless you use lots and lots of soap. Buffer block makes my nails look like they are manicured - but not ruined with the polish. The cuticle oil is awesome too. I use it on my feet when they start to peel - and you can't even tell it was peeling before. I can't help but admire my feet every once in a while, and it makes me happy because they look so pampered - as if I just got my nails done! Funny how the little things pleases me so!
Silky smooth skin; shiny, smooth nails

The nail products do give a beautiful, glossy shine to my usually dull, ridged nails without polish. What keeps surprising me is how silky my skin feels after using the body lotion (especially my elbows). Maybe in a few weeks I'll get used to the new feel, but for now I'm still pleasantly surprised when I accidentally touch my legs or arms.

One trip to the mall with a friend in a year and I was nearly chained to a Seacret Spa kiosk. Double teamed by sales people who got us coming in and tried to corner us again going out. Extremely high pressure. I was impressed by their nail buffing. I have bought buffers at beauty supply stores and had my nails buffed and polished by manicurists in salons from every corner of the globe but this set did a better job. The final step turns out best if you polish as quickly as you can. I've worried about nail salons with fumes, dust, and fungal problems after the brain doc on PBS said the salon air was bad for your brain health, and after several high profile local news stories about fungal and other infections at salons. I prefer the buffed natural nail. The instructions are easy and the finished effect looks like high gloss polish. I also was given the buy two deal but mine was buy two get two free. I did because it is the kind of gift members of my family like to receive and the price seemed fair for a good product with a very nice upscale package. However, the other products they were hawking were not a good deal at all since they were up to four times plus the price you can buy online and as so many reviewers have pointed out there is no buying just one product of any of the line at the mall kiosks. They just keep adding on more stuff, extra packages or products and the fake ringing of the phones with a button push and the "that is my boss calling right now, lets see what he will let me do" line is a pitch leftover from a car lot. If they come at you, keep walking with a firm loud "NO" and then come home to Amazon. My mall has similar kiosks with all kinds of products every 10 feet down the mall and all the sales staff went to the same sales trainer. We felt lucky to have only been dragged over by one. That was my last shopping trip offline this year. The product is good, the sales pitch is bad. I hated the high pressure salesstaff at the mall and will not only avoid the Kiosk again but also avoid the mall, and do what I always do, buy what I want at Amazon.
Love this product

I usually avoid the kiosks at the mall like the plague, but I am glad the sales lady didn't let me get away tonight. She did one nail, and I was so impressed that I bought two kits (2 for $60). I wish I had known that I could talk her down from that price, but there is no buyer's remorse here. This product is worth every penny. I came home, did all my nails, and WOW! The buffing block is amazing. My nails have never looked so healthy and shiny. They look as if I just stepped out of a nail salon. The lotion (Cucumber & Melon) is great, too. The scent is wonderful, but not overwhelming, and it leaves your skin silky and smooth, not greasy.

I know what all the ladies in my family are getting next Christmas. This will be the perfect gift because I just know everyone will love it.

I too, was attacked by the mall kiosk worker, she was an excellent salesperson! She started at 49.99, I said no, then she said she would give me two for 49.99, I said no. Then she said, ok, I am going to cut all my commission out and give it to you for 24.99. And told me she could get in so much trouble for this, I had to keep quiet about it, ha.... Now, no, I don't believe that for one second, but I did think 24.99 was fair, so I bought it. It's a good product. I think they would get better business, and they would gain more respect with potential customers if they posted their price (the REAL ONE) and stuck with it. Give demos if requested, don't hunt down shoppers and grab their hands, buffing their nails before they realize what is going on.... It is a good product, and I will buy more when I run out, but not at the mall.
Nice product, but retails for less.

I disagree with the other reviewer. It's true that the buffing block is great, but you can get equally effective buffers for much less. I found that my own buffing block didn't work as well anymore after only a few uses, which is why I gave the set only four stars. The cuticle oil is pretty good, however... and the lotion is the best part of the kit.
A Good Value if you get a Good Deal

I bought this product from a mall kiosk, and because my mother-in-law and I both bought kits at the same time, we got it for less than the Amazon price. We'd been thinking about going and getting manicures, but instead we spent the money on these kits and did each others' nails. I'm not sorry at all! I really like the lightly-scented, no residue lotion, and the way the buffing block and oil leaves my nails shiny and my cuticles smooth. I also went to Walgreens and spent two dollars on a white nail pencil. Voila, a quickie French manicure. Doing both hands only takes a couple of minutes, and it's much less messy and smelly than polish.

The only caveat I have is the wide range in prices that people seem to get. If you get it for less than thirty, I'd say it's a great deal. More than that, not so much. You may have to haggle at the kiosk to get a good price.
4 stars because there needs to be at least two buffers in this kit!

I wish this kit came with more than one buffer. I honestly love this buffer so much but it only comes with one, and sadly it doesn't last that long. I love the lotion and the cuticle oil too, but now my buffer isn't working as good as it did (I pressed too hard using the white side I think and I realize that all too late. Buff very gently with the white side especially) The mall kiosk was selling these and we got ours 2 for $[...]. Originally she was selling them 1 for $[...] but we didn't want to spend the money so she threw a second kit in for free, giving us 2 for $[...]. We gave one set to my 11 year old. This is the first time I've really tried to take care of my nails and I love it, but I just wish there were 2 buffers or at least a way to order just the buffers online. If they sold those I'd be a repeat customer, but I don't want to go buy the whole kit again for another $[...] so I guess that's it. :) It was fun while it lasted. I'll try to find another buffer equally as good somewhere else; that way I don't have to spend $[...] every 6 months. haha :)

4 stars because one buffer doesn't last long enough!
Definately buy online to avoid getting trapped!

I got this nail kit from a kiosk in the mall. The sales pitch is a hassle, but the kit was great! Definitely worth the money. Through negotiating (almost 45 minutes of demos and sales banter), I got a good deal for 3 Nail Kits (2 for gifts!), the mud mask, mud bar, and the facial peeling gel. I paid about 15% less than list price for the items, but since Amazon offers free shipping and ordering in minutes all my "restocking" will be done here instead of at the mall.

I was also stopped at the mall by a very sweet, young gentleman who impressed me very much with the buffer. My nails were already natural with clear polish (done myself), and he gave the same look with just the buffer. I totally wanted the product set, but was not willing to spend the $59 that he quoted me. I was about to walk away when he offered me two sets for the price of one and I fell for it. He asked me to promise that I wouldn't tell anyone, and that I should recommend it to my friends in return for his favor... of course, I now realize that it was a 'line'. I do not regret the purchase though, and cannot wait to do my nails! He did say that I could return and get the buffer strips replaced for free at anytime, so that does give added value.

I am a 44 year old guy....a guitar player with really messed up nails. I have never taken care of my nails. I was in a mall the other day and this woman was giving samples of lotion out. I grabbed one and she said, "you don't take care of your nails, do you?" I laughed and said that was really no secret. She then proceeded to make 2 of my nails super shiny and then used the oil on them. I was stunned and amazed. This is the first time in my life that I actually listened to a pitch in a mall. I purchased the kit for less than the price here on Amazon. The woman kept going down in price and I finally caved. I knew I would find out that I paid too much for this stuff. But you know what? I don't even care. My nails are so much better for using this product and I am no longer embarrassed of my fingers. I can take the buffer block back to any kiosk for the next 2 years and get replacements and more oil if I keep the receipt. I will replace it as much as I can, but I am using it twice a week and it seem to be holding up pretty well. After the 2 years I will buy something similar at Walgreen's for much less, but I am happy to have entered the world of nail care. Face it, men don't usually think about these things and if I wasn't "swindled" in the mall, I would still have very ugly nails!!

I am a busy mom who's nails go through alot of abuse. I don't have the time, nor want to spend the money on manicures. This product looked promising. The buffer demo on my nails suprised me. I loved how it quickly buffed my nails to a high gloss shine. The cuticle oil seems to be working very well also for my dry, peeling cuticles. Now here comes the fun part - the haggeling.

First he was going to sell the kit to me for $80. The buffer alone was $40. I can tell you, NOT WORTH THAT. Then he said, buy one kit get one free. Still not worth it. Then as I am about to walk away he says he'll sell the kit to me for $39. I bought it and I am happy with it. So just make sure you don't pay too much for it.

I could repeat what all the others have said about the sales people at the mall. Having had "The Seacret" experience at the mall yesterday and thought I'd come out not too bad, today I've looked online. I concluded anything from this company I bought in the future would only be online. However I paid $25 for this kit when Amazon's price for this kit (same as on Seacret website) is the same as the starting price for two which the Seacret girl quoted me at the mall. I haggled to just buy one. So I think it depends, if you educate yourself about their website prices and have some time to spare haggling, see how far you get. It doesn't seem right what a range of prices are out there and end up being paid by the public and that puts me off doing more business with them.

Having said that the products themselves seem to be very good. I'd had the hand scrub demo'd before & walked away (it CAN be done) and was impressed with those results so I let myself be stopped this time. I'm impressed with the nail kit so far and just trying to forget about how much I paid for the salt scrub!

I got my kit at a mall kiosk at a discount price $25! Manicures run this and I do my nails many times over! I feel like I am having a luxury item that pampers my hands and I am worth it! The scent is awesome, the lotion penestrates and isn't oily, the cuticle oil softens my harden cuticles in no time, the buffer brings on a fanstastic shine and the emery board is decent. Yes the kit is worth it and I'm glad the nice young man stopped and demonstated it on me. I couldn't stop looking at my hands as I am not a nail salon person and I love the natural manicured look!

Reviewer: Samela Sunshine,
I have this product that I bought in a mall kiosk while on vacation and the buffer seems to have accumulated some kind of 'grit' that I cannot remove! It is gettng less efficient with each use. However, I agree that a similar buffer can be purchased separately at your local beauty supply store and I plan to buy one. However, I'm not going to give up my manicures anytime soon - since my manicures include an upper arm and hand massage.
Not as bad as some claim, but not worth the price.

I was surprised when my husband came home with one of these, though not in the way he had hoped. I couldn't believe he'd fallen for the whole Seacret thing. While I don't think this kit it worth the cost here it is not useless as many folks claim. The lotion is the worst part, not very moisturizing. But the cuticle oil is packed with nutritive, natural oils and does make nails shiny. The buffer and file are good too. I agree with other reviewers who say you can buy similar items for less at a specialty shop. But this product isn't a total waste in my opinion.
Costly product for partial quality

After reading some of the other reviews here, I'm guessing the authors have never before used cuticle oil or ever had their nails buffed professionally. The cuticle oil given with this product is basic, run of the mill, cuticle oil which can also be purchased in a beauty supply store. Same with the buffer. I bought the set and I agree that the products work well together. However, paying $60 for the kit is too much. Even paying $60 for two kits is overpriced.

A basic beauty supply store (not a drug store or supermarket) would have the same quality products for much less. You're better off buying a good buffer and cuticle oil at a beauty supply store then purchasing a creamy lotion in the scent you prefer. You'll get the same results.

I also bought this after a hard-sell at a mall kiosk in LA. I was amazed by how shiny my nail was. I'm a guy, so I didn't know buffing blocks existed and could be purchased for 2 or 3 dollars.

The buffing block is great. The lotion, file and cuticle oil bring the real value of this product to maybe $12. Do yourself a favor and buy a buffing block and save your cash. It'll look fabulous against your shiny nails.

Run, run away from the kiosk. Take a look at the other reviews. This is a decent product but not worth the price. Do NOT buy products from this company! Shopping mall Kiosk vendors give out telephone numbers which are actually fax numbers, and dramatically overcharge consumers - over $100.00 - as they lie about the purity and safety of their products. Head office refuses responsibility of any kind and refuses to give out names or numbers of company owners or management. This Israeli company and its salespeople are purely out to dupe you of as much money as possible and refuse return of products unless you buy directly from their website. Note that the company has a core promise written on their website stating that their business is conducted with honesty, integrity, no deceit and transparent ethical business pratice! Check out company website and see for yourself and good luck if you have any skin reactions from the products or ask for a refund.

I was also assaulted at a kiosk. The girl was sweet and very fast talking. I am disgusted with myself. I was taken hook, line and sinker (or rather, mud, lotion and buffer!!) I am well aware of the phrase, BUYER BEWARE. I don't know what came over me. I feel so violated. She "neglected" to tell me that the items are non-returnable..only exchangable...So I feel really stuck, after I read the fine print when I got home!! I do not want all this stuff and I do not know if I have any options. Anyone have any ideas. I have had buffers before and yes, they're cool!! But I could have gotten one at Walgreens for several dollars...not several hundred dollars, which I ended up spending!! I'm disgusted with myself and with their tactics!!
Buffing block does work, but.....!

I too am always tormented at the mall kiosk. The last time I was there he tried to sell the set for $49.00 and when I refused, he very quietly told me not to tell anyone, but he would sell me 2 for $25.00. Sounded good, but thank God I am so skeptical I had to go home and check Ebay. I picked up 2 of the buffing blocks for $12.00 and I've only used them once and it is wonderful, but I guess per other reviewers it doesn't last long. I will definitely look for a cheaper version when mine don't work anymore. Anyway, after reading the other reviewers, they are a dishonest group and I will not give them my time anymore.
The company has no integrity

I purchased the nail kit for $59.99 in the mall. I felt like that I was being ripped off, so I went to the mall to return the kit a couple days later. However, I was refused service. No salesperson had told me that I couldn't return the product once the purchase was made. No "no return" showed up on the receipt. On its website, the company states it promises to conduct business with honesty and integrity. If that is really what it claims, it should advise its customers that there is no return once purchases are made. Be careful on what you buy from this Isreali company.
